Biography

Claire Beaulieu holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. The artist has attended several professional workshops in France, the United States and Mexico. She has received numerous grants from the Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec and the Canada Council for the Arts and has been chosen to participate in various international artists residencies, including the prestigious Villa Montalvo in California. She also spent a year at the Québec Studio in Basel, Switzerland. Many solo exhibitions of her work have been presented in Québec and Canada, in Chicago, San Francisco and at the Roswell Museum in New-Mexico. Her work has also figured in duo and group shows in New York, Mexico, Paris, Basel, Montréal and elsewhere. The artist has created works as part of Quebec’s 1% policy for public art. Her work has been the focus of various publications including 25th Anniversary Edition of New Glass Review published by the Corning Museum of Glass (New York State). Her works have been acquired by many public and private collections in Canada and abroad. 

The artist was born in Arvida and lives and works in Montréal.
