Approach:

This works presents local wild flowers and their seeds as a tribute to the nature that surrounds Beauharnois. Flowers depicted in watercolours were then imprinted on specific glass windows. The seeds of these flowering species were enlarged in the microscope to create bas-reliefs in glass pulp. The blue, yellow and red palette corresponds to the blue, yellow and red-tinted glass on the other end of the library. The wild flowers and seeds that germinate and bloom evoke the library’s potential and fields of knowledge.
