Interior Garden

Jardin Intérieur / Interior Garden was presented at the Maison de la Culture Notre-Dame de Grâce as part of the group exhibition Écho.

This is an installation made up of personages I created in glass. A flower grows inside the heart. These personages are extremely fragile, so to present and protect them, I used mannequins made from metal rods that reminded me of birdcages. The personages are placed at the center or heart of the installation. The light illuminating them casts shadows on the wall, like potential future selves.
